About Us

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at this website. We realize that time is a very precious commodity so we hope the few minutes you take to look through this information will help you get an insight to our church.

Faith United Methodist Church actually began in 1991 when Grace United Methodist Church and Mulberry Center United Methodist Church combined and moved to our current location. Along with a new building, the two churches merged their rich heritages and developed a common goal. That goal is to find value in each person as one of God's creations. It is our goal that no one slips through the cracks, instead each person develops a deep relationship with God and other Christian believers on their journey of faith.

We're excited about the value our church places on individuals and I hope you will find a place to grow in our church.

Worship Experience

Faith United Methodist Church offers a liturgical based worship service each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the main Sanctuary.

Sacraments

As with all United Methodist Churches, Faith United Methodist Church celebrates the sacraments of the Lord's Supper and Baptism. We believe the Lord's Supper is a representation of our redemption, a memorial of the suffering and death of Christ, and a token of love and union which Christians have with Christ and with one another. Therefore, all persons are invited to participate in the Lord's Supper during worship on the first Sunday of each month regardless of church membership or age.

We believe Baptism signifies entrance into the household of faith, and is a symbol of repentance and inner cleansing from sin, a representation of the new birth in Christ Jesus and a mark of Christian discipleship. We believe in baptism of infants, children and adults. Persons interested in Baptism should contact the pastor.

On the third Wednesday of the month, October-April, the church welcomes families and singles, to come to Faith, Family, Fun and Fellowship. Each month they are served a meal followed by devotions and a fun activity. Everyone is welcome.
Our church also enjoys an active United Methodist Women's group. As part of this group, there are three active circles that meet at various times of the month. For more information about UMW and to find out when the circles meet, please contact the church office.
Besides these regular fellowship times, there are other activities planned. If interested in those times, one can find them in the church bulletin, the monthly newsletter, or on this website.
